So luckily, Bryan didn't start the permanent schedule till Tuesday. But my week looks like this:
Monday, I wake up at 5:30 am for a two hour shift. Class at 11:20, Lab at 12:45-3:25. Practice at 10-12.
Tuesday, I wake up at 8:15 for three classes, done by 12:35 and then I can do whatever the fuck I want. Tuesday will be my awesome day.
Wednesday, I wake up at 5:30 again for a 2 hour shift.

This semester is sort of taunting me. Normally I can sit in my classes and after the first week, have an idea of how horrible it's going to be. With this current semester, I have absolutely no clue. I'm sure that will change soon, but who knows. What's nice is that I won't have work for another couple of days. I wouldn't say this job is stressful, but it's high tension.
I like this. So far I've had really early shifts, I haven't taken any naps, I get up at pretty reasonable times without moaning too much, and I spend full days out and about being active. As much fun as lazing around is, when I get into that habit it really fucks up my life. So thankfully, I'm not letting that happen this time.
I think this semester will work perfectly for me.

I'm at my new job right now. And I have to say I really love it. I only have to work 2 hours at a time, and I can work at whatever time of the day I want, provided that no one else takes that space before, provided I get a number that works that way, when we draw out of a hat, in a random bingo game that lasts for 2 hours and usually results in a few people working crazy overtime.
Tons of things, man. It's been beautiful. I've been working on linux, writing my album, listening to lots and lots of music, seeing great people.
New years was sort of a drag. No one's fault – it's just the holiday. It's getting to be so mundane. But maybe that's cause I wasn't home for it.
